I've been talking about 'Social Currency' since before the Cambridge Analytica scandal because I saw the trends with my friends on social platforms.
I gave up actively informing them of their misinformation. I chose to live by example so my posts are very intentional but not condescending in intent.
This is the way to amplify the information that would normally be suppressed by algorithms. Maybe an occasional click-bait caption for more quick attention but don't abuse it.
I wish I could easily be more active in public civil discourse but I have to be the change somehow so online I am always striving to be insightful rather than full of incitement.
John Stewart is great at framing the politics with his satire and parody.

Hardly any of this unfolding control of so many by so few would be possible without the speed of cummunication by social media.
