Newsmax’s Greg Kelly said to Trump in a phone interview on Monday:
“The NFL just chose Bad Bunny Rabbit or whatever his name. This guy who hates ICE, he doesn’t like you, he accuses everything [sic] he doesn’t like of racism. Do you think maybe we should just kinda entertain blowing off the NFL like a boycott or something along those lines? This guy does not seem like a unifying entertainer and a lot of folks don’t even know who he is.”
Trump first claimed he’d “never heard of” the rapper. “I don’t know who he is,” he added.
But then the president appeared to show some knowledge of him and the situation, saying: “I don’t know why they are doing it. It’s like crazy, and then they blame it on some promoter that they hired to pick up entertainment. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous.” Jay-Z’s Roc Nation is behind the show each year.
Trump then went off on a tangent to complain about the NFL’s new kickoff rule. He said: “And while we’re at it, I’d like them to change the kickoff rule, which looks ridiculous where the ball is kicked and the ball is floating in the air and everyone is standing there watching it. It’s ridiculous. It’s not any safer than the regular kickoff. I think it. It just looks so terrible. I think it really demeans football to be honest with you. It’s a great game but it demeans football. You know what I mean by that? The kickoff rule? The new kickoff rule? It’s ridiculous.”

Every time he speaks he says something so unintelligible
it's a shock to the system - every time. It doesn't become normal. From "poisoning the blood", to all of his idiotic covid cures, the man is so obviously an evil idiot that's good at getting away with everything, like his intrusion into beauty contestants dressing room. "I get away with it", and similarly "if you're a celebrity they let you get away with it".Feel free to disagree. Everyone has the right to be wrong - Even me.
He can't acknowledge for long that he is clueless about anything, so after it slips, he goes into pretend mode, trying to protect the big 'I am' that he thinks he is.

Apprentice was a stupid show. It is like the lawnchair cliffwatchers at Yosemite with scopes and binocs watching climbers on El Cap, hoping to see a mistake, like a bad fall, and somebody badly injured or killed. People watched the show for the same reason; to see somebody get fired.
Firing people is the felon's self proclaimed talent. Firing people is expensive. Bosses who do it too much eventually appear before their BoD to explain the training cost overruns from bringing new hires up to speed, and lost of profit during the period of low and slow productivity.

In a way the Trump gang were inevitable as manners and mores declined in this country.
The recent Ryder Cup golf tournament was an example. The Cup always involves a little more open cheering for 'your side' than regular tournaments, but we had Americans chanting obscenities at Euro golfers and even their families; it was so bad a top US official apologized. Golf courses are full of bros and hicks, these days. RESIST!
