In a shocking move, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) announced Friday she’s resigning from Congress in January amid a public falling out with President Donald Trump and GOP leadership.
Greene announced her decision to step down on Jan. 5, 2026, in a video and statement posted to X. The lengthy statement details her disillusionment with Trump, his Make America Great Again movement and the Republican Party.

She's still an RW nut job, but apparently not AS crazy as expected. Good on her stepping down because the party is too whacked even for her.
I'm holding out the belief that there is more to it, perhaps something personal as well as disillusionment in her party and its diminished puppetmaster. This is going to harm the GOP in Georgia.
Greene has a lot of wackjob nutzoidism to live down
She lost faith in leadership- both parties, and she has legit concerns. Both parties are littered with idiots, fools, and deviants. Salary and perks attract them. Cut pay to minimum wage plux commission for legislation done, and human refuse won't be attracted or eager to run fo riches.. uh...er... office. Same applies to Boebert. I don't know what her screaming rant the other night in Congress was about. I think it was something of a summary of all about which she's outraged. At least after it was over, she didn't have to wash her hands, as if she attended a theatrical performance.
