Back in Japan, there's been snow in the neighborhood of Tokyo I live in, but not a huge amount (snow's fairly rare there). In far-northern Sapporo, where I also have a little place, there's been a meter in the last 24 hours. Yes you read that right: 100cm. Massive snowfall across much of western Japan, in fact, at least down to a certain point southwards.
