So we have at least 18" of snow and upwards of 6' drifts! Posted by Sia on January 26, 2026, 10:55 am ADMIN Wind and fluffy snow make for crazy configurations outside. Nothing to speak of in spots and massive drifts, plus 12 plus foot "bankens" ***where it is piled up from plowing. The storm isnt over, it's just slowed down to a crawl as in random squall and a fine mist that is wicked slippery! So flippin' cold outside too! *** I know they are actually snow banks, but in N.E. and especially in MA & NH they are "bankens or bankings" depending on accent.
