and common sense... instead of what their 'lying eyes' or 'lying government' has been telling them to believe... will they have a right to protest, or to own or carry a gun legally while protesting? Or will they obediently give up their guns, and their voices and opinions... as told to by the 'legitimate government' that they elected?
I hope they'll believe their eyes long before that!
It's more a matter of getting them to see the reports and videos than to get them to trust their own eyes and ears.
Nowadays, media outlets tend to be focused on one viewpoint and not showing any another. So if eyes don't see and ears don't hear it, then they can't decide to believe what they never saw.
people don't seem to see, hear or care until it happens to them. They came for the Jews but I wasn't a Jew... type thing. But then who will be left to take your side when the time comes that 'they' come for you??
Just today I got a message that popped up on my phone wanting to know how people view Israel. I wasn't going to reply, but I did. I said:
As with any other person, place, country, government or culture... I wish Israel would be more just and more peaceful. As history, and current events, should tell us... it's hard to have true or lasting peace without true justice.
They responded with:
It's not Israel vs civilians but stopping a terrorist group that puts civilians in danger. Would any country realistically ignore a terrorist threat that puts its families at risk?
I responded:
Don't Gazans or Palestinians have families, too? Have they not been terrorized or treated unfairly, too?
