And by “we” I mean ‘we the people’ who are interested in truth and justice…. NOT dividing us into ‘us and them’ or political parties… WE the American people who care about truth and justice and solving real problems… Like accountability, with equal justice and due process under the law… like how we address issues like affordable healthcare, childcare, housing, cost of living…..
We need to paint a true picture of what is going on now, and what has historically led us to this moment in time. Charts and graphs with facts and figures often work well. It helps people to get a visual understanding of the various issues as well as the overall picture.
You're not a Republican are you? . I've been hearing many MAGA say the same. Not too long ago they were saying "We won. Live with it", yet now that they can't defend The Don with any degree of honesty they want to unite. Fine. We can take that. As long as it brings an end to the chaos and cruelty.Feel free to disagree. Everyone has the right to be wrong - Even me.
Nope!

Not a Republican, not a Democrat… I’m an Independent and have been for many years. But I am a never trumper. Never voted for him, and I still don’t really understand how or why so many people did… how they could ever believe anything that comes out of his mouth???
Didn't really think so. should have winked or something...

And thank you for not being a mean, selfish, racist, supporter of cruelty.
I'm living in fear for my hispanic neighbors and any newsperson that dares cover their horrors. Feel free to disagree. Everyone has the right to be wrong - Even me.
My granddaughter-in-law, mother of my great grandchildren, is of Spanish heritage. She became a naturalized US citizen in the nick of time, right before dt took office a year ago. But her father, who had his green card and worked and paid taxes in this country for many many years, was deported to Mexico for having a minor outstanding traffic ticket, and told he could never come back... tearing his family apart. So yeah, I know what this is really all about. Racism and white privilege.... and outright cruelty, as you said.
Dreadful

I think of my Aunt and her husband, who was born in Mexico and who worked for years in America for GM in California..he was a good man and a credit to America, but were he still alive? He’d be in danger from these freaks. RESIST!
There must be millions of these stories….

We had neighbors when we lived in Houston… very good, hardworking people with beautiful kids. They came from Mexico and built their own cleaning company from nothing and became very successful.
but whose family had lived in California when it was still claimed by Mexico. He sounded like a Westerner. Even he is not exempt from being disposed of. Feel free to disagree. Everyone has the right to be wrong - Even me.
How terrible!

How in the world do they claim to be the party of law and order, morality, Christianity, and the 2nd, while justifying all manner of evil? I'm so disgusted with them. It's hard to call my MAGA sister, sister. It's impossible to imagine forgiving her for her justification of her cult master.Feel free to disagree. Everyone has the right to be wrong - Even me.
exactly how you feel. I have a sister like that, too.
From a MAGA today

A MAGA at church today said, after service,
"Trump 2028, Trump 2032, Vance 2036, Vance 2040, Rubio 2044, Rubio 2048, Miller 2052, Miller 2056!"
Since he brought this up at church, I responded.
"What about us who oppose Trump and his policies? Should we spend the rest of our lives living under that?"
He said, "One God, One President, One Party!"
I said,
"How selfish of you! This is politics and it has NO place in church. The Founding Fathers deliberately separated church and state because in England they lived under that joined tyranny, and they sought freedom from it. They risked their lives to establish and found America."
He said,
"America would be better off today if it believed in God and the Bible."
I said,
"How do you know people don't? You are not to judge this. These are not Christian beliefs! They are YOURS, and we should not live under rules of a king, or anyone else. We have a choice where, what, who, and how to worship. No one person dictates where or how that should be."
My words didn't make him think. He seethed.
Service went well except for this. We'll see if and when he calms down.
RESIST! Resist! You can look away from a painting, but you can't listen away from a symphony
To make matters worse…

My sister is also a member of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) which means we have a direct ancestor who fought in the Revolutionary War. And… our father fought in WWII against Hitler and his fascist, murderous and cruel regime, who also believed in “God” and white supremacy.
It disgusts and saddens me to no end, after all that our ancestors fought for… for justice, freedom, and a Constitution and bill of rights to provide for a better nation and more perfect union going forward, and a safer world going forward after WWII. We have always had problems in this country and in the world, but nothing like this. I cannot bring myself to even talk to my sister right now. She has been totally brainwashed by those in her church.
