Despite the fact that the White House MUST have known that the SOTU speech would be fact-checked to the nth degree, the so-called president outdid himself with the lies.
He lied about everything. E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G!
And the fact checkers got busy.
But so what? How, in today's stressed environment did they even think they could get away with it? Simple. He who occupies the bully pulpit and gets first up at bat is believed. The corrections and facts as relayed by the fact-checkers, who are second up at bat, simply fall flat and gain little traction.
The sad state of affairs I'm afraid.

They pervert and corrupt everything they touch and do.
Those who are American Christian Nationalists corrupt their Bibles and the Jesus story just as badly. So badly, anyone listening to them might conclude they know nothing about the Bible, Jesus, or their religion.
They embrace trump because they believe he is one of them. He lied so, and he used them to get elected.
They are convinced the Revelation end of the world is imminent, and trump is helping usher that in. You can look away from a painting, but you can't listen away from a symphony
President Donald Trump delivered an unhinged, lie-filled, racist, and disturbingly dark State of the Union address Tuesday where he gaslit Americans about his accomplishments yet ultimately did nothing to change his abysmal standing in approval polls.
In fact, he spent just a few minutes talking about the economy—the most important issue to voters as midterm elections approach—and instead spent the rest of the never-ending speech talking about murders and blood and other dark and depressing things that likely had average viewers wondering what on earth he was blathering about.
Worse for Trump and Republicans is that when he did talk about the economy, he only boasted about how great it’s doing, saying it is “roaring like never before.” Yet he did not offer any plans for how he would bring costs down and help Americans afford their rising cost of living, which is what Americans want to hear.
Insane. RESIST!

These monsters don't care about citizens, people, children or babies at all.
He bragged about "lifting" people off of food assistance... and the blantant lies about "protecting" SS, medicare and medicaid even as hospitals, clinics and access to medical care and insurance are diminishing and closing down all over the country.
These are just more examples of their goal to "purify" or weed out the population as they continue to find and build more detention centers all over the country.
And now it is coming out in the Epstein files that Trump participated in the physical and sexual abuse of children along with Epstein... abusing a 13 year girl and likely many more. These 'throw away' children were just their disposable play things. This after demonizing the Democrats as "baby killers." How many bodies of the runaway and homeless children they recruited and abused did they bury?
It's disgusting, to no end.
So who knows where the bodies are buried? Someone out there knows.
