The U.S. has given shifting rationales for joining Israel to attack Iran and struggled to explain the legal basis for starting a new war, underscored by the Tuesday resignation of the head of the U.S. National Counterterrorism Center, Joseph Kent. Kent wrote in his resignation letter to Trump that Iran “posed no imminent threat to our nation.”
Most U.S. allies in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization have told Trump they don’t want to get involved in the conflict, he said on Tuesday, describing their position as “a very foolish mistake.” “Because of the fact that we have had such Military Success, we no longer ‘need,’ or desire, the NATO Countries’ assistance — WE NEVER DID!” Trump wrote on social media, also singling out Japan, Australia and South Korea.
‘Very foolish’ to me sums up the position of a ranting, raving autocrat and warmonger who not only rages at people who don’t support his pointless wars, but tries retroactively to pretend he NEVER needed their help!
OK, Don, then what are you raging about? smh SAY ‘NO’ TO WAR! RESIST!
The US Military is his new toy, and he who dodged the draft in '67 due to bonespurs that didn't stop him from playing club soccer and golf, who said the other day "I am afraid of nothing," (except the Epstein files) offers one excuse after another because he has less empathy than a lizard. This war is solely for his entertainment.
Congress who either support this or remain silent need to be removed from office ASAP. You can look away from a painting, but you can't listen away from a symphony
He wanted to start a world war to cover up or fix the mess he has made of the world economy with his ridiculous tariffs? Or, he was suckered into it by Netanyahu. Or... maybe Putin?
Or... maybe he just wants to be more famous than Hitler?
Or…
