Some of the more extreme posters are talking again how Democrats, and/or, "the left" are enemies. They're projecting everything that has been done in the name of Trump onto we who are in opposition to Trump and MAGA. The messaging is bitter in nature. Especially since the vote to redistrict in Virginia passed. For we here in Old Dominion the rhetoric is heating up. This hasn't manifested itself in public confrontations, however. And let's hope it stays that way.

I call them out on FB as often as time allows

Most are pretty good, informative, and provide different perspectives. Then there are the dumb ones. It's astounding, and a bit disconcerting, to read how much propaganda many Trump supporters believe in. It's a real window into the abyss of dumbness. A true eye opener into what people have fervently latched onto and embraced with all their hearts & souls. When we finally get out of this nightmare, we have a lot of work to do to get America back on track. It'll be like the denazification efforts after WW II.

It will only remain to have a dignified figure like Mr. Obama or Mr. Biden to step up and act the role properly, at home and abroad, for people to snap back to reality. Where is this person? I think Kamala is smart not to run again. But among everyone I'm seeing she'd be the most likely to win the nomination. Her day is actually done as far as presidential aspirations go, sadly. Newsome looks pretty but has too much Californication baggage to deal with. Pritzker? Maybe. But he has a (hefty) image problem as shallow as that sounds. It's not too early to find that someone who can get the party to respond to the clarion call. Just, who is this person?

The longer the felon and GOP remain in power, the more damage will occur and longer the cleanup and recovery, IF that is possible. The longer we have to wait, the worse it will be. Buttegieg can't play second fiddle behind Harris or Jeffries, or some other uncharismatic and unelectable Democrat, only to lose. There are very promising contenders emerging for both Offices. IMO Unfortunately it will be a male president but more 'blue-collar' roots for mass appeal. This where the real 'who are we talking about?' exists. Does he? IMO ranked choice voting helps centralize the 'majority' but currently the 2-party system catering to extremes is the norm. (hence Trump) Who can shift us back to the center? And keep us there? We've seen the 'ínstallations' repeatedly through executive order. Power has been consolidated effectively while pretending to be 'We the People'. Currently States have flexed against federal laws in strangely conflicting ways related to individual rights and the way they are regulated. (Abortion,Education,LGBTQ+,Marijuana,Voting,...) Is it consolidated? Too many Americans are clueless of the privilege they have because they perceive it as entitlement through birth-right lulled into complacency. The amount of things to be aware is overwhelming to many. Is that why 'woke' is bad and scary? We need observers and watchers and those to call out what is seen. Keep on keepin'on! A Jack of all trades is master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one. ... And many thanks for the masters in skill for setting our standard of work to instill.

It's really unbelievable that in the 21st century, the American people STILL cannot elect a female president. Both Clinton and Harris were incredibly qualified and experienced. And when you compare their resumés with Trump's the choice this country made was gob smacking in its stupidity. Of course, what's worse than THAT is the support he continues to enjoy in the face of wholesale destruction of our Democratic Republic, our economy, our international alliances, and even our social fabric. Stupidity is as stupidity does I suppose.

Real facts mean nothing. And won't put a dent in an adherent's viewpoint. Take chemtrails for example. No amount of scientific explanation will shake these people out of their chemtrail stupor. They can actually see the contrails. So it MUST be chemtrails! Of course, the more mysterious the issue, the more sinister the theory. And the more sinister the theory the more it MUST be the truth. This especially applies to politics.
