Trump Pushes Gross Ilhan Omar Conspiracy Theory: ‘Brother, Let’s Go To Bed’
President Donald Trump spent several minutes of his speech to elderly retirees in Florida on Friday ranting about the war-torn African nation of Somalia and one of its emigrants, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), whom he baselessly accused of incest and mocked for her support of the Constitution.
“They have no police,” Trump said of Somalia. “All they do is run around shooting each other. It’s filthy dirty, disgusting dirty. It’s a horrible place.”
“They come here and Ilhan Omar — you ever hear of her? She heads it,” the president said, without elaborating further on what Omar supposedly “heads.”
“And then she comes here from Somalia and she tells us how to run the United States of America,” the president continued. “She says, ‘The Constitution gives me certain rights, gives me certain rights, and I demand that I be given these rights.’ Get the hell out. What a phony.”
“And then she married her brother to come in,” Trump added, reviving a decade-old conspiracy theory. Conservative bloggers had alleged that Omar was guilty of marriage fraud by marrying her brother, The Associated Press reported in 2018. Omar called the rumor “disgusting lies.”
“Although it’s a lovely couple, actually, but it’s a little bit on the illegal side. ‘Darling, I love you very much. Goodnight, brother, let’s go to bed,’” Trump went on, drawing groans from the audience.
“Isn’t she despicable?” he asked the room.
Omar has long been a target of Trump's. She came up during his speech as he boasted about cracking down on Medicare and Medicaid fraud in light of a scheme that was uncovered in Omar's home state.
Die, Trump, die. Painfully. SAY ‘NO’ TO WAR! RESIST!
