New Business Endeavor - Please Share Posted by Trish on May 5, 2026, 9:29 am Admin Most of you know my medical struggles. At the end of last year, I was feeling really blue and needed a distraction. I dove head-first into soap making. I confess - it's addicting Now, I didn't want to make cookie-cutter products, so everything is limited edition, and many have very fine body glitter to, well, make it sparkle! Of course, the muse didn't stop there. I ended up with sugar scrubs, bath salts, aromatics, spices... well you get the idea. I am reaching out to share the site in the hopes of networking. The crystal sculptures are pieces of art in soap (those oare fun to make) At the end of the day I want my customers feel like they got something special. I will send little goodies as I can (looking into litte charms to put in thank you cards)

Admin every day I do a little more 1. index two items on google 2. work on internal linking 3. after that improve images 4. improve listing details. Now, really, I just need more molds and supplies for the Curio section ideas - mini treasure box (surprise) - Key with bath salts and scrub bag (opening doors) - soap shreds - shower steamers - tea soaks - milk baths - facials - theme soap by era (boho, victorian, etc.) Well, I could go on. It has always been my problem of having way too many ideas and too little time and money But I have committed myself to one year. After that if I am not seeing growth, I have presents for people fore aeons LOL

It is written casually here because she gave it to me prior to my purchase of several of them. --- "ok here's the French Onion soup. I use red, white, spanish, cooking and green onions. All get sliced, diced and minced (ie three textures). Put them in a pan with butter to brown. When they are caramelized add beef broth, a package of beefy onion soup mix, Worchestershire sauce (to taste) a little salt and pepper. Let it simmer. Taste periodically to adjust the flavor (you can add onion powder). In this last batch I also sauteed some celery tops for a mirepoix type treatment. When you are happy with the flavor cool and let sit in the fridge for 24 hours. Toast up a slice of french bread - heat up the soup, put the bread on top with a full piece of provalone and melt it in the microwave or if you have a brulee tortch you don't have to get the bowl hot, but still get that little brown edge" --- Sia: I like to use Gruyere cheese and lots of it, but provolone works if you dont have any. My family loves it. After making a large batch, I freeze lots of it for quick meals.

I will probably have to wear this stinkin' brace for at least two more months. Progress is very slow with this type of injury.
