Tina Peters, a former election clerk who was sentenced to prison for tampering with voting machines following the 2020 U.S. presidential election, was granted clemency Friday by Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D).
Peters, who was convicted in 2024, had been serving a nine-year prison sentence for tampering with voting machines as part of a failed scheme to prove the 2020 election had been rigged against President Donald Trump.
I am against the release, but understand Polis' reasoning the length of sentence was excessive. So long as Peters ins nowhere near an election again, and others are discouraged from trying something similar.
Anymore I try to be patient and let real feelings develop, rather than just reaction to the moment.
Felon? Has to be removed. But nobody has the spine to do it, and GOP numbers will stop it. We're in for great damage and MAGA will never know or admit to it when it's understood.
Saw a new MAGA bumpersticker yesterday.
Trump is a c u n t. You can look away from a painting, but you can't listen away from a symphony
Trump is a Fascist

Too many have forgotten what that word means, unfortunately.
They should learn, based on his daily behavior. SAY ‘NO’ TO WAR! RESIST!

WOW! I don't get public displays of such rude language

Even children see those things.
As for how you react to sometimes surprising or potentially upsetting things by waiting to pounce or allow emotion to speak aloud before giving it thought, I very much admire that trait in you.
In truth, I've been trying to develop it more in myself rather than my habit of spouting off angrily prior to serious consideration about it, especially when I don't know much about the circumstances.
We can be like that or be mature. I have to fight the nature to react. Especially when it comes to him.
This commentary is worth the watch. It is about the American Christian Nationalist embrace and support of the felon.
My church is mostly these people. My presence is a test of patience and to be supportive and ready when they discover how the felon betrayed them, and they in turn betray the message of Christ.
Mrs. Tedesco used to call Manoah "Tranquillo." I am not sure if that was a nickname, or a suggestion. Either way I take it to heart now more than ever.
It is easy to be angry. It is difficult to be angry at the right time, in the right place, at the right people. Learn to control your anger.
Merlin and Lancelot both told Arthur to control his anger. In a fight, his anger unbalanced him. Lancelot used his anger against him as the key weapon to defeat him.
My family and me with the Tedescos on an Arkansas River picnic. He was anything BUT Tranquillo.
Tedesco at Maurice Ravel's birthday party in Chicago. He stands immediately left of Ravel (Ravel's left). To his left are Serge Prokofiev, and George Gershwin. To his right are Jean Sibelius, Ferde Grofe, Ottorino Respighi, George Balanchine, Cole Porter and Ira Gershwin.
To be a fly on that wall!

That he is! Excellent commentary. I also subscribe to his Substack
The Warning. In truth, his monotone disturbs my listening comfort zone so I prefer to read his stuff, but I did watch this because you shared it for a reason.
He NAILED it! Without all of the visuals, his written words didnt fully convey his meaning, so thank you for that. I'll try listening to him more often rather than only reading his commentary.
That must have been SO AMAZING being a young boy and meeting so many famous legends in music! It must have been so hard to give up for love and to build a family, then be trashed by inferior, know-know-nothing beings like your school administrators.
How many honest Washington politicians can you think of. None are purely honest; that would be too weird to live.
I'll never forget Warren calling Bernie a misogynist and a liar.
Some of us knew Bernie was our last chance. I don't see anyone with his strength of character, except maybe Mamdani. No more letting the DNC choose our candidates for public office. They're not good at it.
