President Donald Trump’s latest appearance in the Oval Office on Thursday led to a wave of alarm and concern on social media, sparking new calls for his removal under the 25th Amendment. Critics on social media highlighted several moments in particular, including one in which he suggested he had won all 50 states in the presidential election.“Probably we won all 50 if we had an honest count if you wanna know the truth,” he declared. Trump won 31 states in 2024.
In another, he said he wanted to build a new path connecting the Lincoln Memorial to the Potomac River and insisted that “they” want to name it “the Trump Promenade” in his honor. He didn’t say who “they” are.
And in yet another, Trump appeared to struggle to keep alert, as he has during numerous public appearances since his return, particularly when others are speaking.(video)Critics sounded the alarm ― and some referenced the 25th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
That’s a process in which the vice president and a majority of the Cabinet can declare a president unable to perform their duties. The vice president would then become “acting president.”
If the president disputes that decision, Congress would ultimately decide the issue, with a two-thirds vote in both the House and the Senate required to keep the president out of office. SAY ‘NO’ TO WAR! RESIST!
How this crap doesn't completely alarm congress and his cabinet bewilders me
..and right-wing losers are not. They're the jeering, taunting imbeciles who hate and envy the smart people because they KNOW they'll never be as good.
It's unfortunate when one like Trump has money and can engage in serious abuse of others. All you can do is wait for them to die.
