Ohio Sen. Bernie Moreno (R) delivered a scathing, foul-mouthed attack on Dr. Anthony Fauci and his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic during Wednesday’s Senate hearing, as the nation’s former chief medical adviser declined to answer questions.

“Who the fuck do you think you were for doing that?” Moreno asked Fauci of his health recommendations and leadership during the global crisis under both the Biden and Trump administrations. “It’s a total disgrace what you did to this country.”

Moreno went on to accuse Fauci of “being more interested in being a celebrity than saving the American people.”

“I hope that, one way or another, somewhere, sometime, you answer for your crimes,” he concluded.

Fauci, who has been a target of Republicans for years, looked straight ahead and did not react to the senator’s accusations.

Of COURSE this POS 'Senator' can't name a single 'crime.'

was abundantly obvious that Rand hoped to catch Fauci offering a viewpoint other than precisely what his private diary said in an attempt to charge him with perjury. As if people can't or don't ever shift their POV slightly or distinctly throughout time.

Fauci was always uncertain of the origin of COVID 19 and said so many times. He entertained multiple ideas throughout the last 6 years, all of which were legitimate.

too stupid to use an ounce of critical thinking skills to determine who is worth voting for ... Perhaps they simply don't have any?

Moreno won't even speak up for his own daughter and toddler grandchild beaten by her ex, a fellow Ohio rep. How THAT alone doesn't automatically disqualify both men boggles my mind.
