Two choices…

Drop him off at the bottom and let him claw his way to the top…

Or,

Drop him on top and let him bask in the glory of reaching the pinnacle of Devil’s Tower. Maybe even put his Arch de Trump up there with some gold leaf for him to apply. Then he can shout to the world that he is the greatest Devil of all time….

Then… after he dies happy up there, bomb the hell out of it. Leave no trace. Only the legend.

The new queens were swarming when we climbed it, so we stayed on the summit just long enough to take a few pictures.

An Indian torture tradition was to bury a man up to his neck near a harvester ant nest. The ants would slowly sting him to death and consume the flesh right off his face.

The sign read,
No Climbing Beyond This Point

I took these with a Kodak Instamatic camera.

That could hurt!

Well, maybe he wouldn't die happy. lol

But then again, he seems to care little about the death, pain and suffering he has caused people due to his own greed, crimes, cruelty and warmongering.

We passed by it on our way from Rushmore to Yellowstone one year, long time ago. Heard about some of the folklore. Seemed odd that it was out in the middle of nowhere all by itself.

Same latitude as Yellowstone, and Black Hills
