We Keep Making Innocent People Answer for the Crimes of Their Governments
The Fractured Line - Oct 7
We gotta talk.
I’ve been sitting here with my laptop for the past three hours. I’ve written two different articles that I ended up completely deleting and scrapping. Not because they were bad, but because I didn’t like them. This happens from time to time where I am writing and seemingly moving along alright, only to come to a dead end and start from the beginning again.
I was trying to figure out why I wasn’t feeling them. The content wasn’t terrible, and the information and research cost me a lot of time and effort. Between the hours of reading and phone calls and such, it was a lot of work that I did, and ultimately, it’s sitting in a folder on my laptop growing cobwebs.
That’s because there is something that I want to talk about with all of you that is far more important than that. Something that I want to bring out into the light. Something that will probably be controversial but shouldn’t be.
Israel is not the Jewish people.
Yes, we are going to talk about this because it is October 7th, and it is the anniversary of that horrible attack that caused the death of more than 1,200 people. It is also the start of one of the most horrible events in recent human history with the genocide in Gaza.
Let me break this down, because I think if we don’t talk about it, the problem will continue to fester and grow. The simple fact is this: Israel is a Jewish nation, not Jews. Israel speaks for all Jewish people as much as Trump speaks for all of us.
Ever since the start of the war in Gaza, the Jewish people have seen antisemitic hate crimes go to a point that they now make up about 60% of all religious hate crimes. Understand that in our country, Jewish people make up around 2% of the overall population. That is 2% of the American people getting 60% of the religious hate.
I’m not Jewish. Unlike George Santos, I’m not even Jew-ish. I am a Greek Orthodox Christian. That means that I spent a good portion of my youth learning about the way religion works and how faith works. Not just studying scripture but understanding the way faith works is part of how I was brought up.
That is why I was always taught to treat the Jews and Muslims with utmost respect. I don’t need to agree with their religious views and beliefs, because their views and beliefs don’t affect my views and beliefs. My views and beliefs as a Christian are that the only thing Jesus promised me was trials and tribulation. Part of that is learning to love and accept others I may have different beliefs from.
I lived in the Middle East. I lived in a Muslim country. I was never forced to hide my religion or defend my religion. It was just accepted that I had a different belief system. Even with that, I would be invited to Iftar, and we respected each other.
The uncomfortable part is that most of this hate towards the Jews isn’t new. It also ironically isn’t coming from the Muslim population as much as it is coming from the Christian population. The excuse that Israel is doing horrible, inhumane things at the behest of Netanyahu has been used to propagate hate.
The truth is, Netanyahu is a monster. It has nothing to do with his faith or beliefs; he is just a terrible monster. The trail of dead that he is responsible for isn’t dependent on race or religion. The argument could be made that he is partially responsible for the October 7th attacks in the first place, as he was informed about the pending attacks ten days before they happened, and he did nothing.
He was told by Egypt and the UAE. Per Haaretz’s sources, he said Israel was ready and that he expected Hamas to act in the West Bank, and he never told Shin Bet, Mossad or the military. When you know an attack is coming and warn no one, that makes you complicit and responsible in my eyes.
It is worth saying he called the UAE claim a lie and he is suing Haaretz. He has also blocked an independent inquiry and investigation for three years. It is similar to the way a certain pedophile in Washington, D.C. has acted about the Epstein files.
Let’s also be honest. There have been terrible things that have been caused by Israel and people who aren’t Netanyahu. The settlers have caused terrible things in the West Bank, and the military has participated in some of the most hateful and terrible events in recent history.
That doesn’t mean that they speak for all Jews.
The Muslim Brotherhood doesn’t speak for all Muslims. Sharia law doesn’t apply to everyone who follows Islam. Christian nationalists don’t speak for Christians. In fact, Christian nationalists share nothing with my faith except the term Christian. Every single teaching they promote stands in opposition to my own religion.
Let’s also address something uncomfortable. Jewish people have every right to have their own land and nation. I know people see the country of Israel in polarizing ways. There are people who believe that the Jewish people have earned their own land from their centuries of hardship. There are also people who believe that Israel is a criminal state.
Any complaint I would have about Israel, I could say the same about America.
As a quick aside, any ‘Christian’ who promotes Zionism is a bigot. The only reason they want the Jewish people to be in Israel is so that Jesus can return and plunge anyone who isn’t a Christian into hell. I see through their bullshit.
In all my research and all the hunting I’ve done, I have discovered a simple truth. The people in power aren’t there because of their religion. Being born a Jew doesn’t come with a checkbook. Yes, some of them may have family wealth. So do bigots like Elon Musk, who is both the richest man in the world and a fucking Nazi.
The Rothschild family may be Jewish, but they aren’t furthering Jewish interests. The Walton family is Christian, but they aren’t furthering Christian beliefs. The Al Saud family is Muslim, but they aren’t furthering Muslim beliefs.
For fuck’s sake, the Trump family are technically Christians.
This is the anniversary of a terrible event that caused the death of many innocent people. It is still causing the death of many innocent people. Instead of letting ourselves fall into fear and hate of other people and different people, I think it is time for us to realize the greater truth.
The more they keep us fighting with each other, the more they are able to get away with and steal from us.
Stay loud, stay informed, stay dangerous.

Articles like this exist because I’m not beholden to making corporate donors or sponsors happy. In the time period when what you are being told by the news is being curated to keep you docile and obedient, I’m arming you with the ammo to fight for the truth.
That is why I’m dependent on paid subscribers. They are the only reason that I can do what I do, and bring you the truth unfiltered.

Opposing the actions of Israel, the country, is NOT antisemitic whatsoever!
The country's leadership and its citizens are NOT the same thing. All Israelis and all Jews do NOT approve of Netanyahu's racist and hate-filled behavior! HE is not them.
Just as here in America, many citizens completely oppose what their government leadership is doing. To brand all of them or all of us as just as deserving of scorn and punishment as our respective (mis)leaders is flat out WRONG.
Labeling honest disagreement or animosity against a Israel's (mis)leaders as antisemitism is a well-worn topic that WORKS to silence opposition for fear of being canceled, careers destroyed, or worse. Zionists have been using it for decades whenever anyone dares protest Israel or takes the side of Gaza in that war.
Israel, the country, is deliberately committing GENOCIDE to rid the world of those who oppose them. Hamas raiders may deserve that for their evil deeds, but the vast majority being slaughtered and forced to live in squalid, unsafe conditions while starving and having no way to escape is horrific and deserving of our revulsion, anger, and demands that it stop!
