On his face are round, dark sunglasses to hide his eyes and obscure any hint of emotion or intent. They give him an otherworldly detachment as if he’s seeing beyond the physical world, his gaze veiled but somehow still penetrating. Beside him stands Lilith, her presence equally haunting yet her beauty creates its unique magnetism. Her blonde hair cascades in soft waves contrasting with the otherwise grim frame, stealing the faint light in the scene and adding an ethereal experience. Her attire is dark and flowing, with lace and sheer detailed layers that remove the noisy light. The entire choice of her clothing casts faint, shifting shadows around her otherwise bright beacon from her natural body frame. Her intense brown eyes, somehow bright but also cold, cast an unwavering gaze into the camera and a slight smirk on her face gives her an aura of a silent and dangerous allure.
Lucien lifts a gloved hand, beckoning the viewer closer with a slight curl of his fingers. He pauses, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth as if amused by an unspoken thought before he begins to speak. His voice is smooth, and calm, almost coaxing like a forgiving parent. His voice carries a hint of curiosity that feels inviting yet somehow gives a creeping gnaw to the pit of your stomach.
Lucien Kross:
“You all came here to see something real, didn’t you? Feel something raw, unfiltered, to let go of everything holding you back, if only for a little while. But tell me, what happens when that feeling fades? When the thrill and the noise die down, and you’re left with nothing but the empty silence?”
He pauses, adjusting the scarf around his neck with a casual flick of his gloved hand, his movements slow and deliberate, as if savoring every word. Lilith watches him with a faint, mysterious smile, her head tilting slightly as she listens. When Lucien glances toward her, she steps forward, locking eyes with the camera, her expression unreadable at first glance. Her voice is soft, laced with a faint edge of temptation as she speaks directly to the viewer giving the impression of genuine concern. However, the sharp edge still peeks through.
Lilith:
“It’s funny, isn’t it? We live in a world that demands you keep your desires in check. We are told to stay within the lines and to behave. But deep down, you don’t want to behave, do you? You want to break free. You don’t want to suppress inhibitions further. You want to give in to the impulses you keep hidden – the ones they say you shouldn’t feel.”
She lets her words linger in the growing silence, with her gaze unwavering, as if daring the viewer to admit their desires and to give in to them now. She steps back, her movements smooth and controlled, her presence creating an unsettling opposition in the chaotic alleyway. Lucien chuckles softly, sounding warm and mocking, as he raises a gloved hand to adjust his sunglasses.
Lucien Kross:
“You see, there’s a certain thrill in breaking the rules. But you already knew that didn’t you? A thrill they tell you that is wrong, something you should bury beneath the weight of their expectations. But what if I told you that thrill, that urge, is the closest you’ll ever come to true freedom? Real freedom doesn’t live in rules or the noise of their demands. It lives right here,” he gestures to the shadows around them, his hand casting a noticeable silhouette against the wall behind him, “In the places they tell you not to go. In the actions, they tell you not to partake.”
Lilith lets out a quiet, almost delighted laugh, her fingers tracing the edge of her lace sleeve as she watches Lucien speak. She steps forward again, her voice soft and almost soothing as she continues the thought.
Lilith:
“You’ve spent so long pretending, haven’t you? Pretending to be satisfied, pretending to be in control. But we all know that underneath that exterior you’re giving the world, you’re hungry. Hungry for something real. For something,” Lilith licks her lips seductively. “Forbidden. The things they tell you not to want. The things you’ve been told to keep buried. But why?”
She pauses, her Cheshire smile giving away the fact that she already knows the answer. Lucien shifts slightly, leaning in closer, his tone dropping to a near-whisper as if sharing a secret meant only for those watching. A secret that up to this point, feels as if only he and Lilith knew.
Lucien Kross:
“Because once you taste that freedom – once you give in, even for a moment – you realize that the only chains holding you back are the ones you’ve hung yourself with. The ones your parents and loved ones choke you every day with. All those rules, all those expectations, are just fatal illusions that you didn’t ask for. Safety nets to keep you enucleated. To have you blind and willing to go day-to-day in delusion, instead of facing what you want. But in the end, don’t we all just want to be free?”
He pulls back, a smirk forming on his lips, while Lilith glances at him with a look of quiet approval, her eyes glinting as if she’s been in on this entire private joke. She turns back to the camera; her eyes give the entire story.
Lilith:
“So why keep pretending? Why keep hiding behind the noise? Why keep strangling yourself every day by doing what you don’t want to do? Listen to that voice inside, the one telling you to let go. Take what you want, be who you want. Do what you’ve been too afraid to admit that you desire. Because in the end, that’s the only truth that matters.”
Lucien adjusts his gloves, smoothing the leather over his hands with a deliberate slowness, as if savoring the lingering meaning that follows her words. His voice softens, almost to a whisper, the tone dark but coated with promises.
Lucien Kross:
“Some of you, most of you, will ignore this. You’ll cling to your comfort and to the deception that blankets you. That fixation to just keep feeling safe. But a few of you, a few of you understand. You feel the pull, don’t you? That whisper that is telling you to just step over the line. That faint whisper in the back of your head that coaxes you to just let go. And when you’re ready to take that step over the line, allow yourself to drop down to the ledge and release your tight grip on safety. When you’re ready to let the noise just decay to the truth – we’ll be here, waiting for you.”
He tilts his head slightly, his smile widening, the dark sunglasses reflecting the faint glow of the streetlight as he finishes.
Lucien Kross:
“Fall and be free. Fall and pray you’re ready to face what truth waits in your silence, through your abyss.”
Lucien and Lilith exchange a final glance, their expressions eerily giving satisfaction for their message, before turning and disappearing into the shadows of the alleyway. The camera lingers on the space where they stood, the silence now longing for more, before the screen fades to black with the message: “Do you dare to fall?”
