that my next home will have a SCREENED IN porch (with glass too for colder months) to sit on. I am sick and tired of the insect/lizard world. The open deck isn't working for me at this age.

COINS...I am widening my search for the last independent home we will own.

I'm being told that I am too picky and that my lack of motivation to move is holding up progress. But, whatever. I have a list of 'must have's'. It isn't complicated.

Truthfully...if it were just me...there a dozen places that I would wander to...like a nomad...and not deal with the ball and chain of ownership. Sigh. But it isn't just me. Actually - I love those Dell Webb communities that show up on commercials occasionally...but only North Carolina or Tennessee appeal. And Nashville area has become ridiculous - if we were going to spend that kind of money, might as well go west coast. The Raleigh area is more do-able maybe and I might be better able to campaign for it as the hubby's father and his people come from there.

I would go Lake Charles...but already lost that battle...all because of those things called hurricanes.
