...college was a good choice. The problem now is that somebody decided that EVERYBODY should be able to go to college and made it profitable for colleges to accept them on easy college loans.

The days of actually having to prove you belong in college are long past. Colleges and college professors and administrators are getting very rich off of student loan money.
