I've been sleeping like a baby and oblivious to all weather.

I did read that there were wind speeds clocked at over 100mph but didn't phase me. I just have hopes that it blew the hawk's nest out of the top of the tree that sits about 50 feet from my house. Yes, in one of those ironic twists, the dayum hawks have moved in. All the song birds are gone. And they usually do disappear this time of year. On the positive side...or looking for the silver lining...my morning chore checklist is lightened up without the need to fill bird baths - and who knows...maybe my water bill will decrease.
