I just told my wife she better hope that I live to be a hundred. She has hearing aids but won't wear them. I kept hearing a funny sound. It was the outside unit icing up. She never heard a thing. I turned the emergency heat on. It doesn't need the outside unit to heat the house. Did the same thing with the unit on the other end of the house. Have the sink running. It's 38 outside. I'm good.
