...and all go straight to the trash.

First is a free meal offer from someone who wants to take 1 percent of my savings per year to manage my retirement. (There must be a million firms out there who all promise to keep me from running out of money in retirement.)

Second is an offer on one of my land holdings. It will be a fraction of the value of the land and they will promise to pay all closing costs.

Third will be a pre-approved credit card that I do not want or need.

I may also miss an extended car warranty, insurance on my water, gas or electricity lines, or an ad for cheaper cell phone service, none of which I feel the need for.

Geez, how long will I have to wait for these important fire starters?
