Cherfilus-McCormick(D) was indicted last November on charges she embezzled million$ from FEMA. As a result of the indictment and subcommittee findings she's likely to be booted from the House.

Rep. Greg Steube(R-FL) has filed a resolution to expel Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick from the House which he plans to bring up in a week and a half when the House returns.

The House Ethics Committee's investigative subcommittee has found "substantial evidence" that Florida U.S. Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick broke the law, according to a report released Thursday afternoon.

Cherfilus-McCormick, who represents parts of Palm Beach County, is facing federal fraud charges and has been indicted for using FEMA funds to pay for her campaign.

The committee will now consider potential consequences in the U.S. House of Representatives for Cherfilus-McCormick."
