The weather report for yesterday was partly true. Some areas of SE GA did get torrential downpours but not in this area, where the wildfires are raging. We got no thunderstorms, no rain...zilch.

The good news is that the Brantly Co. fire is now 32% contained, up from 6% contained on Monday morning. The bad news is that just under 23,000 acres have burned and the fires continue to spread. They say we might get some rainfall over the weekend. We'll see.
