On the night of April 30, 2026, the Moon is in the Waxing Gibbous phase, appearing 98% illuminated and essentially full to the naked eye. This evening marks the peak viewing window for the Flower Moon (the Full Moon of May 2026), which officially reaches its peak brightness at 1:23 PM EDT on the following day, May 1. It's FULL and in my SEE Sky probably about 20-30 minutes before sunset.
