I was watching the Food Network this afternoon and they were doing a show on the best hamburger in the U.S. (non-fastfood places only.) The pro-chefs who did the taste-testing narrowed it down from 300+ restaurants to the Top 10. Their #1 choice was "The Red Hook Tavern" in Brooklyn, N.Y. It was the ultimate definition of '
less is more' simplicity. I can tell you right now it would be a winner with me. It has only an onion slice and American cheese added, just the way I prefer mine.
