New York Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman told Newsmax that Democratic leaders in the state are pushing "class warfare" on high income residents.

Blakeman told "National Report" on Monday that New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani's proposal to tax expensive second homes is the latest example of what's wrong with the left.

"Zohran Mamdani and [New York Gov.] Kathy Hochul are the two most divisive people in New York State right now," he said. "This is nothing more than class warfare."
