The cicadas here are singing all damn day - between that and the Mississippi Kites doing there pew pew high pitched call - there is no peace. This year we have had more Mississippi Kites in this area then I ever remember before. The internet says they should be packing their bags soon and heading south for the winter. Gawd I hope so.
