I made two smaller roasts today in the oven- one to take over to my son. The good old fashioned pot roast with potatoes and carrots.

That is my kitchen gold star for the week. Probably for the month. 😀

I made a taco casserole in the slow cooker yesterday - the recipe called for hasbrowns - it was okay but I don't really recommend. 😕

Later next week - if the fall temperatures keep coming - I am going to make the lasagna recipe that I gave Johnny Salt (and he tried it out) a year or so ago. If he was around here posting - I would let him know the sad sad news that Momma Mel (who I often got recipes from on the 'net) passed away. It was a shock! 😢
