"Qatar condemned the attack on Al Udeid Air Base attack, but said it successfully intercepted the missiles and no casualties were reported. It [also] said its airspace was now safe."
And as I said, Qatar is now nearly a sure bet to enter President Trump's Abraham Accords further helping to pave the way for his Nobel Prize. This Iranian missile attack makes Qatar's joining an even safer bet.
Iran did launch missiles at U.S. military targets in Qatar—specifically the Al-Udeid Air Base—on June 23, 2025, but none of the missiles successfully hit their intended targets. According to Qatar’s Defense Ministry and multiple news outlets; The missiles were intercepted by Qatari and U.S. air defense systems before impact. No casualties or damage were reported. The attack was part of Iran’s retaliation for U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities two days earlier. Explosions were heard over Doha, and residents reported seeing missile trails and interceptors in the sky. The Qatari government condemned the attack as a “flagrant violation” of its sovereignty and warned of a potential response.
So while Iran clearly intended to strike U.S. assets in Qatar, the missiles were neutralized midair, preventing any direct hits.

Qatar or *snicker* Cutter (as some say) is the ME playground/resort. We'll see...or 'wait and see' the most frustrating phrase in the known universe.
well, okay, there are other frustrating phrases but I am on my best behavior momentarily.
