Against the background of incessant attacks by Israel and Iran, the Doomsday Radio Station UVB-76 issued the third message of the day.

A new strange word sounded on the air — "visoked". According to tradition, no explanations were given.

Before that, at 13.20 Moscow time, yesterday's message was repeated on UVB-76 at 13.20 Moscow time with the word "snowless", but with a different identification group (with other five digits) at the beginning: "NZHTI 63145 SNOWLESS 7383 8915," writes the telegram channel UVB-76 logs.

I'm not talking about view points but identity. As for JK, I did not know, until recently, based on his posts here, that he is either agnostic or atheist and that he has an issue with Jewish people. I refuse to argue with non-believers. I am a believer, a baptized Christian, and have been my entire life. That will never change. If I am wrong in my beliefs, then OK, I have lost nothing. If non-believers are wrong then, well, you know the rest. It's all about choices and free will. So says the Bible and that same Bible sides with Israel as a Jewish nation, God's people...that's non-disputable.

There are theories as to what 'visoked' in a transmission means - but no confirmations.

The Doomsday clock - according to AI - has moved to 89 seconds to midnight "primarily due to lack of sufficient action to address major global crisis" according to AI.

Is there any point in time on this board that a poster is not suspected of being a 'rat'? Just askin'

No one on this board has seriously apologized for Islam...well maybe mender and CHE tippy toes along the boundary...but there are viewpoints that differ from just spitting on the hands, hoisting the black flag, and offing indiscriminately anything that moves.

This isn't Duck Dynasty - and we aren't sitting in a duck blind - so no one should yell 'pull'.

To be disappointed in falling in line with the agenda of Israel does not mean one hates jews or is agnostic. This is ridiculous.

To be clear here, JK posted recently that the Bible is all "mythology" - his exact words. That led me to believe that he is more than likely atheist, a very reasonable conclusion. I believe this conversation was between you and me. I'm out of the convo above. Your court...

and I believe there have been many conversations in the past on this board where one felt quite comfortable interjecting one's self because one had "something to say"

So say it - your move on the court.

It is supposed to be a board to engage with other posters with humor and one would think, as adults, with respect as opposed to calling someone out because ONE doesn't happen to appreciate the way they post. Maybe Stoogie should post signs with the code of conduct.

Knowing Dara will read this, I have something to say.

Dara, first off, my intentions are only good ones, so I hope you will see them that way. I know you said that you had to keep up with people as part of your job and they had to check in with you and that's all fine, but this is not a business/work place and we're all retired and have no desire to answer to anyone.. It's just a message board where people are free to go and come as they please. I said this to you way back when you first started posting but you chose to ignore it, I suppose...your right. Other people have made hints to that affect as well. Most posters do not want to be hunted down on a daily/weekly basis. If someone who has been a long-time poster suddenly disappears for a length of time, then that's an entirely different matter and a legitimate reason for concern. Otherwise, it feels intrusive to many.. (On that note, Gigi really was not a regular poster here. She did not show up until around Dec. and posted only a few times. The neighboring board you post on may have been where she posted long-term, but - seriously - never here.)

I truly do believe you are trying to be funny/humorous, but it doesn't "land" as funny. Humor is different for all of us and what you find as humorous may actually be offensive to others. Honestly, I thought that in your post to JS about what he was doing yesterday your wording was rude and aggressive. There are times when practically every one of us has been rude, including you and me. I also think that sitting at a computer waiting for people to post is kind of sad. If boards you post on are slow, just go do something else for a while. I know that is really none of my business, but neither is it yours to call people out when they are doing other things. One thing I do know for a fact...everyone is not going to like or relate to you on these boards. That's life. There will also be times when disagreements/snarls, etc., will happen and that's just a given, too. Don't make a scene, just deal with it and move on. Things will settle down. We're all human and we all "have our moments."

Dara, I'm just trying to offer up some genuine food for thought. I've got a few years of life experiences on you so please keep that in mind. I, too, worked for 'powerhouse people' in the political arena for 28 years. Unlike you, though, it made me want to steer clear of most political discussions/activities. To each their own and I'm very thankful I chose to let it go. So, just at least - if you will - give this some thought before you react. It's coming from a good place, and I actually took some time to think about responding before I decided to take a chance.

Out of all you "had to say" - there are only a couple items that are worth a response. I don't believe gigi ever posted here...but I do suspect that there are many imposters and those that travel from board to board. No problem for me - live and let live in the boardhost world. But with that said - I suspect many don't post if they are constantly getting called out and lectured...hell, most probably run right out of the neighborhood.

I have no idea where you believe we had any conversation that you "warned" me about anything. The two females I talk to on other board -we have not ever conversed about THIS board or anyone on it. So you have me stumped...also have me stumped on where you got the idea that I "worked for powerhouse people"...I'm positive I have not ever discussed any previous occupation of mine on any board. But, hey I had a good idea that you had a few years of life on me...otherwise you might have suggested that, rather than working FOR powerhouse 'men'...I was the powerhouse.

Okay...carry on.

I don't have a problem with you. Nothing you have posted to me in the past bothers me - confused me, yes, but bother me, no - and I certainly don't ask others to get involved. Further, I don't even read you 90 percent of the time so that may explain my confusion.

And because I have been raised right and taught to respect my elders...we'll leave it at that.

Really? (snicker) You've reached over 90% of your quota alone in just the last 2 hours, even took the time to look up an old post of mine and post it here in an attempt to undermine me. I'd certainly understand, though, if you actually did choose to ignore them completely. It would prevent me from having to "polevault" and waste all that elderly energy, put it to much better use...
