Liberal freaks still trying to blame budget cuts for flood disaster in Texas....

...even though warnings were issued hours in advance and the New Braunfels NWS had extra personnel on site to monitor the situation.

What it comes down to is that there are no systems that will predict these types of events. They expected 1 to 7 inches of rain. They got 15 to 20. The Guadalupe was overwhelmed and the existing warning systems were not adequate for this once in a lifetime situation.

This guy can stand to miss a few meals

If it was human error - lack of warning and response (and I do not personally believe that) - then it should probably be addressed...at some future point...but not now, now is the time to show respect and our own personal form of sympathy/empathy for the victims' families and loved ones and the community as a whole. A reach into the wallet (by those who can) would also be a good way to show compassion and caring for the community. Although many are, not all tragedies are political in nature, sometimes Mother Nature does catch us all off guard as she raises her ferocious head.
