Cutting corn like that is dangerous to the fingers and I have to ask WHY? You can accomplish the exact same flavor without the cuts. I think it's a dainty thing to call them corn ribs the way he prepared them. I'll do it without cutting the cobb and call it Corn Loins.

It will be just as good. The ribs are more or less a pro's new trend but I 'll probably try it at least once.
