The Feral Cat will not be fed tonight

I ran out of tuna in water
I thought I had some cuz I have over 4 dozen cans left
It was all oil
Which makes sense, cuz I only buy tuna in water when Oil is not there
I won't being going back to Sam's til Monday
So it's a 4 day Food Insecurity Event for the feral cat
Gee, I hope it makes it
It might have to kill a bird or two to survive

Oh no! Couldn't you rinse the oil off the tuna and give it to the cat that way? I mean, you've got quite a stash.

I might have to go to the grocery store for the temporary fix

The tortoise has a perpetual field of food that never ends naturally. Today he was eating overflow cantaloupe vines... and then there is always the grass. Apples are a luxury I feed him. I am sprouting bean sprouts for him now. He eats healthier than all of us.

I rinsed and I put the bowl out
If it's not gone
I will do a Coins guilt run to the grocery store

I'm in complete agreement. The cat depends on you and I can't imagine you'd let it down.

That cat might not depend on me
it seems like it does
but it may be just a house cat free to roam for a better meal

I'm not sold on the feral part yet
I was at first
Now I question it

You'll know in time. If it is feral, it may take a while for it to trust you but nothing wrong with that, there's no rush.
