KOOL - good instrumentals by them but what a big difference in the sound and the generational gap between the two, huh? The Isley Brothers recorded their version in 1959.

The Isley's first number 1 hit if I'm not mistaken

If memory serves me correct, that song was ad libbed from another song,...ended up launching a long long career.

The Tear For Fears version is sometimes referred to as the acoustic version. I like the harmonizing of the vocals and the music, especially after the guitar interlude. There's another song where the vocalist harmonizes well with the music I'll post later.
