97 today. Birds/squirrels fed. Mosquitoes killed. Garbage sitting at road unmolested since 8 pm last night. I'm good.

There are no birds feeding. That tells me the Sharp-shinned hawk is out there somewhere waiting on a meal.

Projected high of 96 so you beat me by a degree. Good Morning COINS!!! The forecast here says temperatures will "plummet" later this week. "Plummet" is such a dramatic word! We'll see

I'm planning on staying inside too. Last night the smoke detector went off every time the a/c turned on. Found out my wife had sprayed a disinfectant in the hall and the smell of it set the alarm off. Took it down and turned it off. I'll put it back up this morning because the smell seems to be gone.
