Fed the birds/squirrels. Killed the mosquitos. Didn't hang the flag because light showers expected early. Taking the mower in because the return to neutral spring and idler arm are defunct. That's why I hit the house. This is getting old.

It sounds like you got stuck with a lemon. Sell it and start over could be an option.

This lawnmower cost over $4,000, Getting another is not my cheapest route, getting it fixed is. I'm rough on a mower I'll admit. It's my cross to bear.

While I'm thinking about it let me say, go into any repair shop

they are always full of every make and model. I've owned them all. John Deer, Troybilt, Craftsman to name a few. They all breakdown at one time or another. As far as selling a "lemon" to someone. I couldn't in good conscience do that to someone.

I could, but I would tell the buyer why and price it accordingly. In fact, I sold a dodge pickup and an escalade that way. The same buyer bought both. I'd rather lose money than have the headache. I've been that way my whole life.
