Notice there is no blue dye anywhere.

Don't ask me...I'm red/green colorblind...

No matter how many times that I've been told that Red Rock Canyon had red rocks...They always looked brown to me.

When we fired up that little window unit in our 2500 sq ft plus home...

...it made it livable again in spite of the heat and humidity in August in Texas. It ran almost nonstop for 5 days.

I decided I could be my self-reliant self and search for the answer. Didn't take a minute - blue dye is used to help detect leakage in the refrigerant part of the unit. Rest well.

If you had not posted you had used one of those, I would have never considered it. Best $173 I've ever spent.
