However, if one had a democrat for a government (or civics) teacher before the Dept of Education was created - one stood a chance of understanding how the world worked...outside of the imaginary Camelot

Those students and people who had their
bodies and lives damaged or destroyed
should still serve as a warning to any
people living under the rule of people
seeking wealth in power

I do not think they created an ideology:
What they “practiced” was adopted
and adapted.

In regards to going up and smoke, me
and the boys walked around for three
days and didn’t sleep much at night n
by gosh and golly. I didn’t see the first
fist fight nor a hear any harsh words
spoken. I did see many naked people in
places I never thought I’d see them, but
that’s so irrelevant, now that Medical
research has shown marijuana is not
the horrible drug that alcohol is, and
the fear tactics used by government
are not effective -

Perhaps if no rocks or bottles were being tossed about?

Perhaps if people really understood what it means to peacefully protest. Or maybe many do - but the bad actors generally show up to facilitate a situation that would not otherwise exist.

The difference between now and then is that it is not an organic protest of anything when one is being paid to act out. Or maybe money was involved back then as well.

Either way - there is going to be a point of no return - and eighty million people do not give one fine shit about the prosing of imaginary 'kings'. Maybe that is the trouble for you mender - you are conflating past into present. It is not at all the same people - it is not at all the same issue. Wakey up!!!
