What effects do you think will happen to our allies if Trump does it by force? Does taking Greenland without their consent make us any different than Putin taking Ukraine or China taking Taiwan?

Pituffik Space Base (formerly Thule Air Force Base) is on the west side of Greenland, and while it is necessary to support global thermonuclear war it is not suitable to protect the GIN and GIUK Gaps which are largely naval SLOCs.

All other bases the US once occupied in Greenland were shut down by Jimmy Carter. Pituffik/Thule remains the sole active military base.

Certainly elaborates, eliminates and enables some to
cover up anything that we know about Trump that is
relatively unsettling and goes far in explaining the
need to trash talk the opposition as their best of
their ability at effective comeback.

I watched and listened as Trump shouted out
the best expletive and tossed the bird, which
I thought a very, very presidential and mature
response and provided an excellent role model
