...We have a good layer of sleet but not much freezing rain so we have power. The only branch that I have seen fall is far from power lines but smack dab in the middle of my pool.

I have several relatives in the area and they have reported only a few short outages.

Oh crap. I see that your post elicited a response from one of the squirrel people below...

That's the second time he posted tree limbs hitting the pool. I think the other post he made damaged the pool pump/filter. It was a costly placement decision.

...she wants to live "in the woods". It makes it very hard to maintain a pool even in good weather. It gets loads of pine cones, sweetgum balls, acorns, pine straw and leaves.
