Exactly. I spent time at quite a few high school sock hops and Sat. night dances at the local Armory dancing to his music. That was one of my favorites.

He was much later for my age group, I believe the 80's. I had lived in J'Ville, FL for years by then and had moved on to rock groups like Lynyrd Skynyrd and Molly Hatchett who actually lived in and got their starts there - and seeing The Stones and CCR and other groups perform in the old Gator Bowl which is now the home of the Jaguars.

Of course. Us Baby Boomers certainly didn't spend our lives whining and "poor me'ing or sitting in a chair at the therapist's office or waiting on our parents to save us. We knew how to get on with life...to have fun and take care of ourselves.
