Is that an expression of approval for an operation
which, if developed n executed against US by any
coalition maintaining any military organizational
capability, might be frowned upon, or is it meant
to merely express one's deepest Christian love
of one’s own country?

Would I still be considered a patriot if I loved
my country and served my country, yet didn’t
want the electrifyingly, currently aging daily
American wielder of power able to convince
his cronies into leading the deadly might of
my country into being involved in any of
the religious, or foreign or domestic wars
which seem almost ready to spark and flare?

I thought I was being a patriotic American when
I followed Davis n thought Lee was brilliant, and
look where it got me.

Iraq had its chance to straighten up and fly right after Operation Midnight Hammer.

That was their one and only limited strike kinetic warning.

They also had their chance to do this completely peacefully by responding properly to the negotiations in Geneva. They made a poor choice.

Unlike the leftist morons, a President with common sense isn't going to send them a pallet of cash for their misbehavior.

Don was interviewed after the first set of strikes the
last time he was president and mispoke to the very
attractively distracting reporter about the attack on
Iraq, then continued by discussing how delicious
the chocolate cake was. I remember stuff like that
that Trumpets eat up… like white chocolate cake -
or bombing Iraq

During Donald Trump (45)'s first term (2017-2021), there was no bombing campaign against Iran itself. However, tensions escalated, and several military actions involving Iranian interests occurred.

U.S. carried out targeted strikes against Iranian-backed forces that had infiltrated military installations in Iraq.

On January 3, 2020, a U.S. drone strike killed Qassem Soleimani, a high-ranking Iranian general who sponsored terrorists, near Baghdad International Airport in Iraq not Iran. This act marked a significant escalation in U.S.-Iran tensions but was not a bombing campaign against Iran itself.

Trump's administration increased military presence in the region and conducted operations aimed at deterring Iranian activities.

Any of these events should have been read as a warning to Iran that President Trump was resolute in his intent to stop Iran's militancy. His interest in cake was likely just a bit of showmanship to display his lack of trepidation over possible Iranian counterstrikes.

While military strikes against Iranian interests occurred during President Trump's first term, they did not constitute bombing Iran. The focus was on Iranian proxies, assets and leadership figures elsewhere.

If Jimmy Carter wasn't so incompetent he'd never have let Iran turn evil. They were allies at the start of Carter's reign of error. We even had an airbase there.

For the past few years until today, Iraq has been a better ally lately. We'll see what happens with the return of a Pahlavi to the throne.
