Back in the early 1970's I worked for a Canadian Mining and Engineering Consulting Company. I was conducting geophysics in northern Ontario, exploring for uranium. The area I was working was also the flight path of the S.A.C. Unit at Kincheloe Air Force Base!
One moment, I could be enjoying the tranquility of the Canadian Bush, with birds chirping and moose grazing ..ect, when out of nowhere, flying tree top level, a B-52 would fly over head! They flew so close to the ground that I could smell the exhaust. It definitely got my attention!!!! LOL
