I just found it strange to chat with Rufus, Amazon's AI Bot...

It was the first time I engaged in such a chat.
As my friends here will recall, a few weeks ago I ordered one of those Egg Cookers.(and a couple of other 3D printer supplies) Well, to make a short story long, they lost it... and it was lost and found a few times as I tracked it making a sojourn across the Southeast US.
I finally cancelled the order this morning only to find out that for some unknown reason, Amazon had already cancelled the order 2 weeks ago without informing me, so I had to re-order it. I clicked on "Rufus" the AI Helper Bot for grins to ask it about this journey and why Amazon didn't inform me that they cancelled it themselves 2 weeks ago.
I found it curious that the Bot referred to itself in the first person. I even commented to it about that and welcomed it to sentience. (which it rejected)
I never did get a satisfactory answer, but it was an interesting experience... so now, I'll just have to wait again for my egg cooker. 😑
