Iran says US requesting negotiations because it did not achieve war goals

"It is clear that Iran is standing against the world’s greatest superpower, and they have not achieved even a single one of their objectives. That is why they have requested negotiations, and we are currently reviewing it," Iran's foreign minister Abbas Araghchi told reporters in Russia.

He's probably doing this to see if he can achieve any war goals
