In the manifesto Cole Allen says he intends to kill the Administration officials "from highest-ranking to lowest," further identifying himself as the "Friendly Federal Assassin." And his deeds show these were not fanciful ruminations.

If Allen has any chance of escaping justice on the charge of attempting to assassinate the President, it can only be from the slim chance the defense can blow enough smoke up the court's asses to obscure that the manifesto was actually written by Allen.

But even is they are successful in doing that, it will have little effect on the outcome. There is more than enough evidence to prove Allen shot a federal officer with intent to kill and with depraved indifference. That's enough to get him locked up for life - the same sentence he's likely to get for attempting to assassinate President Trump.

Rest assured that he will no longer be indoctrinating school children...
