He's not even close to being funny, just another arrogant, liberal Trump hating wannabe protected by the liberal Hollywood conglomerant. I read that steps are being taken to revoke ABC's license but I'll believe it when I see it.
I started buying Disney stock for my nephew 25 years ago when he was born
I'd add shares for his birthday and Christmas and when he started working at age 16 he started buying shares himself.
A few days ago he asked me to help him write a letter to ABC and Disney to complain about Kimmel. This is what we came up with:
As a Disney shareholder for more than 20 years with over 1240 shares, I feel compelled to write to demand Jimmy Kimmel be replaced with a more prudent, contemplative and balanced (both mentally and politically) host.
I am not making this demand based on any political agenda. I would certainly feel the same way if Kimmel had promoted the murder of Joe Biden or Barak Obama as well. I am instead very concerned about the corrosive effect of Kimmel's (and by connection ABC/Disney's) support of criminality, murder and political assassination despite what should still be Disney's appeal to children and families.
Kimmel's racist appearance in blackface should have disqualified him from hosting any program long ago. As you should know, since his racist blackface appearance, Kimmel was suspended for playing fast and loose with facts after another murder in order to throw red meat to his unbalanced followers. But since ABC/DISney has not yet seen fit to remove him; before the price of my DIS stock loses any more value than the near 50% it has already lost over the past 5 years, it was time for me to write.
Kimmel's repeated incitement of psychotics to murder a current sitting, and even a past, President of the United States including involving the President's family (off limits since Amy Carter days) is beyond the pale. That he doubled down on the incitement immediately after such an assassination attempt is maniacal. The twice indicted James Comey should have known this, and so should Kimmel. And certainly so should ABC/Disney especially given the Comey example. As we all should know, threats and incitement to murder is not protected free speech.
Kimmel needs to be fired before Disney's stock price goes even lower. An indictment of Kimmel, especially if he remains in place, would certainly have that effect. It's likely a Kimmel effect on Disney's stock will take place much sooner than the slow wheels of Justice can mete out given the FCC's new look at licensing certain Disney owned broadcast stations carrying Jimmy Kimmel Live! Firing Kimmel would be a way of mitigating the effect of FCC action and of the probable indictment(s) to come. It's long past time for his removal.
Re: I started buying Disney stock for my nephew 25 years ago when he was born
That's an outstanding letter, to the point and very well written. I hope the FCC's actions, the responses of you stockholders and the general public will light a fire under ABC and they take permanent action to rid TV of vermin Kimmel.
