Would you harvest these potatoes now?

The plants have not completely died back yet but some of the potatoes are popping up from under the soil.

There was an older lady lived next to me many years ago. She planted hers in old tire stacked up. When she wanted some she'd go down a few tires, reach in and pull them out.

I can only imagine the chemicals and crap in an old tire.

Being very old she didn't worry about trivial things like that.
